Treehouse Architect Robert Oshatz
Architect Robert Oshatz has spent 60 years designing incredible houses among the trees, engineered to fill the gaps in the forest. He designs his homes to be a part of the landscape, with windows placed and sized to maximize the views.
He is working on a new development of 5 spectacular homes near Forest Park in Portland. These slender homes are being built close together on a 2.3 acre piece of land.
90% of the existing trees are being preserved, and the homes are elevated to allow rainwater to pass through naturally. He wants it to look as though the houses have grown and bloomed on the hillside.
These are definitely one-of-a-kind homes that some people will be very lucky to own.
