Things To Do : The People’s Courts

We’re pretty sure you’ve heard of pickleball, a sport that’s similar to tennis but different in key ways. It’s easy to learn and play for people of many ability levels. To call it a craze would be an understatement.

The People’s Courts is a fun new facility with a big focus on pickleball. Located in NE Portland, it offers over a dozen pickleball courts plus lessons, clinics, equipment rental, and a full pro shop.

In addition to pickleball, it has cornhole, bocce, ping pong, a 9-hole disc golf putting course, a video game arcade, and even skeeball! And of course they have a delicious food menu including weekend brunch, with a large selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.

There’s no fee to enter, and the activities are charged by the hour. They also host private parties for groups of all sizes.
