I moved to Portland from Birmingham, Alabama, in 2002, drawn to the city’s charm and laid-back, progressive vibe. I met my husband, Jacob (on a blind date at BlueHour) and we’ve lived all around the city before settling in our mid-century home on the southern edge of Irvington in 2014. I love biking, hiking, running, and exploring the outdoors; and I equally love eating delicious food and drinking local beer and wine (BlackWater, Ox, Cliff’s, and The Bye and Bye are some of my faves).

Real estate has been a big part of my life. Shortly after I graduated from the University of Oregon’s College of Business, Jacob and I pulled together a 5% down payment and paid $169,000 for a dilapidated fixer a few blocks from North Mississippi. Jacob’s a talented contractor and I’m a capable assistant, and we loved remodeling our first home together. Over the years we’ve bought, remodeled, and resold over a dozen homes, and we currently manage a dozen rentals in inner Portland, plus vacation rentals in the Willamette Valley Wine Country and Palm Springs, California.

I founded Think Real Estate in 2013, and it grew into one of the top producing brokerages in the state, earning multiple client service awards along the way. After selling Think to a longtime broker in 2021, I’m now excited to guide Proud Realty as an ethical brokerage providing amazing client service.
