ILY2 Too Hosts Can’t-Miss Art Exhibits at Lloyd Center

If you’ve been to Lloyd Center lately, you’ve seen that some very cool, independent shops and activities have taken the place of some of the chain stores that left the mall. We lost a Marshall’s, but got a Secret Roller Disco, which seems like a big upgrade.

One of the most interesting and fun spaces is ILY2 Too, a frequently-changing art gallery space on the first floor. For a few months now, the space has hosted Father Fannie’s Funhouse. Father Fannie is a Portland-based multidisciplinary artist who has curated some very cool artwork, all created by talented Black Portland artists.

As Father Fannie told the Mercury, “Black people, especially Black people in Portland, deserve to feel like they matter and the things that they create matter. I want my space to be a center and focus on Black joy. I want everyone to witness this. This is for all eyes to see and enjoy and be like, yes, we love you.”
